A couple of weeks ago, Fuke sent me an email asking if I would be interested in helping out with a re-edit/retranslation project for a manga that another group had already worked on. At first I was a little hesistant but when I heard it was Kisaragi Gunma's latest series, I was interested. The first chapter was already done by RyuuTama which was good but it was chapter 2-4 that me and Fuke focused our attention on. A completely different group decided to try and work on those chapters but it was translated from Japanese to Spanish. Sometime later, that Spanish version was then translated into English and the end result was a story that I feel didn't have the right "flow" as well as some translation mistakes according to Fuke.

Anyways, the manga as well as comparision screenshots to show the difference between the Spanish>English translation and our version is available to download from HERE. I will post a mirror of the files on here probably soon.

Unfortunately, we won't be picking up the future chapters of Welcome to Tokoharusou because RyuuTama has decided to work on the future chapters and since me and Fuke already have a ton of projects on the go, we hope you understand that as fun as it is to work on an artist as well known as Gunma, sometimes we can't pick up EVERY manga to work on.

It's kinda funny that a couple of years ago, I used to have the mindset of, "it's just porn, who cares about the translation" but over time, I realised that sometimes the right dialogue can completely change the mood of an h-manga.

Forget Amazon, Omazon is much better according to this oneshot because instead of a demon girl figurine, you'll get a real one that grants you three wishes! This is a oneshot by Kagehara Hanzou but unfortunately the raws weren't the best size for editing which is why I had to balance between making the text larger or fitting the words in the speech bubbles. Mashiro-iro Symphony doujin & Let's Believe Again!

It's time for a double release today. The first one is a joint project with Soba-Scans and it's a Mashiro-iro Symphony doujin called Yurikko ga Kunka Kunka shite tara Uryuu sareru H na Hon by TAROTS aka Sawano Akira. Unfortunately, I've never seen an episode of Mashiro-iro Symphony so I can't really comment much on this. It's pretty much a straight forward straight sex story.

Now is also a good time announce which filehosting site will take Megaupload's place. It wasn't easy because a lot of them had the captcha thing or the ridiculously long-ass waiting time before you could download files as a way to make you cough up some cash to buy a premium account. In the end, I decided on Minus purely because it has NO captcha and NO waiting time. At the moment, I'm giving this a trial before I commit to uploading all the past releases to that site just in case it turns out to be a load of ass.

Farewell Megaupload

Today I spent my afternoon sorting out and organising the download links for the archive pages. After editing the last page, I got wind that Megaupload had shut down. Sure enough, this means that the entire download links will have to be rehosted again on a different site. As a user for Megaupload for almost 5 years, I will miss it a lot even if I did get burned on redeeming points for a premium account but the news that it closed down is sudden and took me by surprise. I will choose another file upload site but I'm starting to wonder if this could be a taste of what an internet life would be like if SOPA passed.

Mediafire will still be my main site but I still need another file hosting site so it's time to ask... what sites do YOU like to download from that's NOT Mediafire.

Can't believe it's been in the works for almost 2 years but I'm so pleased to see this book in a completed form. Thanks goes to Schmidt for not only introducing me to Yurikawa but also providing the translations for almost every chapter in this book. Thanks also to Taruby for letting me use his translations when I was re-editing a chapter in this book but most importantly, thanks to everyone who waited patiently for each chapter to be translated and edited. I know some other groups could probably finish it within a couple of months so once again, thank you so much for sticking with us to the end.

This will also probably be Schmidt's last translation as well. Work and studies means that he doesn't have much free time to do translations like he used to anymore. I will carry on wanting to work on more Yurikawa though and since the artist is still doing a lot of stuff for Comic Hotmilk, I figured it's only a matter of time before a second Yurikawa tankabon will be released. If that does happen, you can bet I'll be bugging a translator if they can work on it so expect more Yurikawa in the future... hopfully...

Highschool of the Dead dj - Kiss of the Dead II (Lo-res Version)

NEEDS MOAR MAIDOLL IN HERE. Time for a Highschool of the Dead doujin and this is the latest one by Maidoll from Comiket 81. Saeko and Takashi make an escape from an action packed chase scene and then decide to have sex like it's their last day. This doujin was translated by Fuke who also worked on the first book which can be downloaded from here. In my opinion, this is another excellent Maidoll doujin and what I expected to get my big tits fix but it is a little shorter than the first book and the postscript does explain that certain action scenes didn't make the final cut. Here's hoping for a third book!

Why is this marked "lo-res"? Well, me and Fuke are waiting for Anonymous Scanner to provide us with hi-res scans so that I can re-edit this into a much higher quality for release so expect that one in the future.

Double Release: Breast Ball & Mio Onduty

Well that was a nice new year's break. Looks like it's time to get back to editing. Let's start off the first release of 2012 with a double manga release by an artist called Menyoujan. The first one, Breast Ball is a short colored oneshot about a girl in a basketball team who accidently injures her team mate by shoving her knee in his face. Cue "special medical treatment" although I'm not sure if sexxoring can heal that brutal injury.

The second one is a K-On doujin featuring Mio (aaaahhh, I can't decide between her or Azusa to be mai waifu) who seems to have gotten a job as a club advisor only to be blackmailed into joining another club because of a certain incident which got recorded on a DVD. I love this doujin and the fact that it's in color is even better. I am aware that another group has already worked and released this but I liked it so much that I'm willing to work on it even though it's already been done. Major thanks again to Fuke for providing the translations for both of the releases.

Filler Post: Learning Japanese in 2011... With An Android Phone

Continuing on from the last "learning Japanese" post, I thought it might be appropriate to recommend apps for the Android phone that helped me out with learning Japanese. This was the year where I decided to sign up for my first smartphone and it was such a close choice between an HTC phone or an iPhone. In the end, I picked the HTC Sensation. A few days of setting up later, I decided to check out the Android Market and typed in, "Japanese". Here are the Android apps that have played a large part in me studying Japanese while I waited in the queue or while I was on my lunch break.

JA Sensei

There's a selection of Hiragana/Katakana flashcard apps on the Android and they all do their job of telling you if you picked the right choice when it flashes a character on the screen. In the end, I decided to pick JA Sensei because it has three levels when doing the Hiragana/Katakana quiz where the easy level is where you can take all the time in the world to pick the right answer while the hard level just gives you something like 2 seconds to pick the right answer which is challenging. The downside of this app is that while learning the kanji/hiragana/katakana is free, you'll have to cough up some money to add more vocabulary lessons. Overall, a very good free app and good for beginners.

Obenkyo

Just like JA Sensei, this is also another flashcard app for hiragana/katakana/kanji but the big difference is that it also includes an (experimental) particles quiz and also a massive vocabulary list. The info on each kanji is VERY detailed and gives a lot of information as well as meanings when it's paired up with other kanjis. For a flashcard app, JA Sensei and Obenkyo do the job well but I prefer to use Obenkyo a lot more.

Conjugation Japanese

Conjugation Japanese is a simple quiz to learn the conjugation of Japanese language. It incorporates an achievement system where answering a certain amount of right answers gives you a mini trophy which actually encourages me to keep playing with this app. Answering 10,000 right answers? Sounds crazy but not impossible. The big downside to this app is that if you pick a wrong answer, it moves onto the next question without letting you know what the correct answer for that question was which means you'll have to pay attention to every answer you pick to make sure you don't pick the wrong one again.

Kanji Recognizer

Draw kanji. Pray it recognises your crappy writing. Actually, it took me two times to write that crappy looking kanji in the picture before it shows you the actually kanji that you wanted to look for at the top of the screen along with other suggestions but I blame it more on me not practising writing kanji at all. Downside is that touching the kanji only gives you a pretty barebones translation of the kanji, the on/kun reading and stroke number/radicals. Pretty handy app but not one I've put to good use yet.

Kabuto Japanese Dictionary

Does what it says really. A dictonary... ON YOUR PHONE. You can search up kanjis by searching and picking out the radicals that build that kanji or by stroke number. I'm sure there are other Japanese dictionaries but this is my first one and so far, it's not that bad.

And that pretty much wraps up this post for learning Japanese with your Android phone. One other thing I wanted to mention was that my phone also allowed me to read PDFs of Japanese books on it but sadly the screen is not ideal for me and it does involve a lot of zooming and scrolling even though I paid up and got ezPDF Reader. I really don't want to splash out on a 10" Android tablet purely for PDFs so I hope to pick up a Kindle soon for that. 2011 can be summed up as me dipping my toe into learning Japanese but I'm hoping 2012 is the year when I start to dive in properly and start immersing myself with the language. Don't worry, h-manga editing will still be top priority so expect more of that very soon.

Filler Post: Learning Japanese in 2011

Ever since I started editing, I've always wished I could understand Japanese so that I could increase the amount of manga I can work on. The thing that prevented me from learning Japanese YEARS ago was because I was studying my final tests in high school, followed by several months of unemployment/job hunting and the general feeling of, "it looks too hard" not to mention the lack of motivation. At this point last year, I made a New Year's resolution to actually sit down and LEARN Japanese... which seems to consist of buying Japanese books on the recommendation of the translators I work with and seeing which helps.

As a filler post, I'll now be making a brief summary of all the books I read and hopefully this should budding translators make the right decisions in deciding if it's worth the money to purchase them. I should mention that I am still far from being fluent and there's really no "learn fast with no effort" method so it's going to be an ongoing progress that I'll still be continuing through 2012 and probably even 2013 before I can finally call myself "translator".

An Intergrated Course In Elementary Japanese: Genki I

The thing that struck me about this book was how expensive it was. PDF scans exists for this but I can't get used to reading this on a PC screen so I bought it instead and waited patiently for it to fall through my letterbox. It's not exactly a book for someone wanting to learn Japanese all by themselves because this is a textbook and textbooks are more effective in a classroom. In fact, a LOT of the exercises involves talking and speaking with a partner or a classmate so if you have no friends who also wants to learn Japanese, then you'd better start pretending to be talking to an invisible friend. This is the first of 2 volumes but so far, I don't have any intention to spend that amount again for the second volume anytime soon.

Overall, a very thick and expensive textbook. Informative but really only effective when working with another person who is also studying.

Japanese in MangaLand

When I saw this being advertised years ago at the height of "manga mania", I dismissed this as a cheap cash in. I put it in the same league as those, "how to draw manga" books but this was an unfair comparision because one of them teaches you how to draw manga while the other teaches you Japanese with the lesson summed up with some manga panels. I wish I could've bought this sooner because it does explain everything in an easy to understand format and knows that this is for people who want to learn Japanese for manga. The quality of the manga illustrations aren't the greatest but they get the job done and actually provide a welcome break from learning.

Overall, I quite enjoyed reading this and it doesn't feel like a cash in by slapping western manga art to sell a Japanese lesson book. I recommend this for absolute beginners. In fact, I'm still reading this every night.

The Kodansha Kanji Learner's Dictionary

Like it or not, learning kanji is going to be inevitable and it doesn't help that you need to learn about 2000 of them to be able to read a Japanese newspaper. Either way, this dictionary was recommended by someone on the /jp/ board on 4chan years ago and I can say that this is a great book to have on hand to look up the meaning of kanjis very quickly.

Overall, an essential book that I would highly recommend for finding up kanji definitions.

Making Sense Of Japanese

Ironically, I have no idea what this book was going on about but from what I gathered, it's supposed to explain some of the Japanese language in greater and finer detail which is great for people who already understand the basics but definately not for people like me who still hasn't mastered grammar/kanji/etc.

Overall, definately not for beginners like me but hey, I'm a slow learner so I might re-read this next year and by then, some of it will make more sense.

Essential Kanji

Yay, more kanji. Unfortunately this book tries to cram far too many information about each kanji into a very tiny box. on each page. Maybe if the book was a little bigger so it can fit more intomation then I would rate this higher but I bought this book secondhand so it wasn't a big loss and it was more convenient than carrying the next kanji book I bought...

A Guide to Remembering Japanese Characters

Now THIS is a thick kanji book but it uses the space on each page to dissect each kanji and then uses a mnemonic method to make up some short quirky story to help remember the kanji's meaning. Again, this was bought secondhand but it didn't feel like it helped me absorb the kanji's meaning at all. A weird story behind each kanji to make it memorable is one thing but trying to keep it in my brain is another. I guess I'm still on the hunt for my perfect kanji book.

All About Particles

A particle is basically the english proposition in Japanese and there is a LOT of them to remember. This was recommended by one of my translator and it's a very basic but very informative book that gives a list of the particles and their translations. It's also a thin book so you can carry it with you everywhere... or you might probably be tempted to download the PDF and read it on your smartphone/tablets. I won't lie, I did that for this book but in the end I bought it because it required a lot of going back and forth which was something I didn't enjoy doing on a PDF reader.

So that's my list of books I ordered and read. There was a couple more but they were basic phrase books from my local bookstore and it wasn't really anything worth mentioning about. I bought all these books secondhand from Amazon so they didn't really break the bank... apart from Genki which was pretty pricey. Either way, I hope this inspires you to take up Japanese as a hobby. If anyone has any Japanese books they read that they would recommend, please don't hesistate to make a suggestion in the comments.

Time for another Inkey oneshot with translations provided by Fuke once again. For those that liked Cafe Milk Paradise, this one goes the complete polar opposite with humilation, RAEP RAEP RAEP, pissing and mind break themes instead. This is meant to be a sequel to a story that appeared in an earlier Comic Angel Club about a girl who tries to blackmail gropers on a train but unfortunately it backfires on her and ends up getting raeped instead. Unfortunately the magazine that contains that story isn't scanned so maybe one day in the future, when Inkey publishes a tank that has that story, me and Fuke will work on it.

Once again, if that wasn't enough warning, this story is definately not a happy sex story. RAEP RAEP RAEP is such a harsh word. I think I'll replace it "struggle snuggle" in the future.

Megapai Chapter 1 & Not4dawgz Announcement

Continuing with MOAR Fuke joint projects (believe me, there's still more to come) here is a new project that we'll be working on. It's Megapai by Amagi Michihito and the first chapter deals with an adventurer looking to vanquish a demongirl who was destroying some village. There's a lot of action on each page but be warned as it can get a little hardcore at times. Expect buckets and buckets of cum and ahegaos in future chapters.

Additional thanks goes to Shadkats for making a generous donation to Fuke to enable him to buy a copy of Megapai and rescan it to replace an upscaled digital version. There was also a version of Megapai raw that had a MASSIVE filesize that appeared out of nowhere but it was a bit too late by then and Fuke had already placed the order so enjoy this version, hot out of Fuke's scanner.

In other news, I'd like to make an announcement that from now on, ALL h-manga releases from happy sex/vanilla stuff to the dickgirls/traps/tentacle/etc that normally appears on Not4dawgz will be released here and under the 4dawgz name. What this means is that I'll slowly be winding down Not4dawgz, migrate all of the previous releases over to here and eventually retire that group name.

I made this decision a couple of days ago when I noticed that a lot of "straight sex" manga I work on had a really dark forced sex storyline to them while the dickgirls and tentacle stuff actually had a happy sex storyline to them. What this basically means is that it's getting more and more difficult trying to decide if I should label them as 4dawgz or Not4dawgz so in the end, one name, one group and one place to get all your h-manga fix whatever the genre, no matter how normal or weird will be right here on 4dawgz.

I would like to thank everyone who paid a visit to Not4dawgz and considering it's been over 2 years since it opened as an "experiment", I'm pretty happy with with Not4dawgz accomplished but trying to manage two different blogs is starting to be too much of a hassle. Not to mention that the flow of translations on that blog is next to nothing because it's not everyday I get scripts for a trap manga... which would be nice. Here's to the future of this blog with more variety in fap material!

Lewd Roses Ch08-10 & Completed Book

After almost two 2 years, I'm happy to finally release the last three chapters of Lewd Roses. This was made possible by Fuke providing the translations and making it possible to move this project from "on hold" to the "completed" pile. Anyways, the first two chapters focuses on a female pirate and her poop deck (OH COME ON. DON'T TELL ME YOU DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING) while the last one is a fairytale about a kidnapped princess doing stuff to ensure her freedom.

And now... time for the entire completed book for download *joygasm*.

I remember picking this up years ago to work on because I wanted to improve my cleaning skills and this book had a lot of text over artwork for the colored pages. With the help of some online manga editing guides, it took me 2 weeks just to clean up those colored pages but it was a lesson well learnt. Also, I couldn't resist nekomimi catgirls with nice tits. Thanks goes to Ershin for providing the initial translations for the colored pages, Masamune for providing the translations for the Baphomet chapters and Fuke for completing the rest.

There's not a lot of story in this book because half of it is padded out with illustrations but hey, it's still a good book. Unfortunately I don't think me and Fuke will be working on a new Kanesada Keishi book anytime soon but things could change in the future.

The Promise

Fuke contacted me one day to to let me know that he completed scripts for some colored oneshots. What I didn't expect was that he completed FOUR of them. Hopefully there should be something to suit everyone's taste. Also, before I forget, Happy Thanksgiving! Here's a tip to make turkey less dry. Here's the first release. It's by one of my favourite artist, Thomas and it's about a literary club girl giving advice to a guy on how to write an erotic novel. Apparently he lacks experience so she offers some "hands-on help"...

Second release is the first of two release by an artist called Saburou. I'm aware that this was already translated by another group but by the time they released their one, Fuke had already completed the script so it would be a shame to just waste it. Just a story about a dude paying for a blessing ritual to ensure he gets good marks on his exam. Unfortunately there seems to be a slight misunderstanding and he gets a different ritual to rid of some "evil spirits". Additional credits goes to Zoidsking for making this uncensored version possible.

Second and final Saburou oneshot for today and it's a story about a dude getting kidnapped by a demongirl who decides to make him her familiar. After this chapter, Saburou is now one of my favourite artists so I'm hoping I'll be able to work on more in the future.

Last chapter time! It's hard to believe that I've been editing this for almost 2 years now but I did read this series before RaikenTB contacted me to help him out with the editing and I do remember the funny moments as an otaku tries to get to grips with finding out that he has a daughter that he never knew about... and the low points such as the landlady's story arc. Anyways, this last chapter places the story two years in the future as we get to see what happens to the characters. Also, cool ending bro.

For those wanting to read the story from the beginning but don't want to go to various groups to grab the chapters that wasn't done by Nicchi Scans, me and RaikenTB have plans to re-edit and retranslate the early chapters so I think we'll still be working on OnM for a little longer yet.

Hello US Solatorobo fans

I've recently noticed in my blog's stats that I've been getting a couple of hits from a couple of video gaming sites. For a minute I was trying to remember what video game doujins I edited that warranted a mention by gaming sites until it finally hit me. Solatorobo was released in the US a couple of days ago and everyone was linking to the 4koma strips. I figured I'd take a moment to update everyone what's going on with the 4koma.

Nameless translator, the guy who loved the game and was throwing the 4koma scripts at me to edit has retired from translating but has managed to send some, but not all the scripts for the remaining 4koma strips so I'll try to get some done as soon as possible. By the way, the US boxart of Solatorobo with the soundtrack CD is much better than the PAL version of Solatorobo I bought. As for the game itself, it's a beautiful looking game but with a pretty repetitive combat of grabbing and throwing enemies. It's still worth a play and I do hope there's enough sales to warrant a sequel.

Now to answer a question that everyone's probably thinking. I know that there's some people who come to this site, read the Solatorobo 4koma, then notice the hentai scanslations. So, will I be working on any Solatorobo hentai? While I'm not a hater of furry pr0n, it all depends if I can find a translator willing to work on them but the chances of that are very, VERY slim.

Puru Puru Milk Pudding Ch.01-03

At long last, here's Sameda Koban's latest book, Puru Puru Milk Pudding as translated by YQII. There's three chapters in this download but only the last one is a full chapter. The first two are just very short colored oneshots but filled with Sameda Koban's trademark LOLWHUT humor. The third one however is a completely different story. It's a story about a guy who has a crush on an older girl when he was younger. Cue a timeskip and it's a dark tale about jealously and how one girl can manipulate guys for her benefit. BUT DON'T WORRY. The chapters after that go back to happy sex mode so look forward to more Puru Puru Milk Pudding stories in the future.

Another Triple Doujin Release

Fuke strikes again and sent me three more scripts to edit last week so it looks like it's time for another TRIPLE DOUJIN RELEASE.

The first release is a doujin called Seventeen 5 by Yoshuu Ohepe which is based on a manga by Mizuki Kawashita called Anedoki about a 13 year old guy who meets an older girl, then decides to move into his house. Sadly the series got canceled after three volumes and had to be given a horrible rushed ending but this doujin is certainly not a disappointment. Filled with Yoshuu Ohepe's trademark of drawing well rounded girls, this doujin contains a theme of food sexxorings. A little warning that the last few pages has some watersports action in the bonus illustrations but it never actually happens in the story itself.

Anonymous Scanner provided the hi-res raws so the filesize of this is a little big for some. For those with capped download limits or, heaven forbid, dialup connection, Fuke has download links to the lo-res version on his site. I am aware that Seventeen 1 and 2 is translated but it looks like 3 and 4 is nowhere to be found so hopefully one day the raws for those will appear somewhere.

The second release is the first of two Monster Hunter doujins. Unfortunately, this is a game I have no idea what it's about but it seems to be a regular subject at every Comiket event much like Dragon Quest or Idolm@ster games. While the subject is alien to me, the artist certainly isn't. This is by Fujiya Honten AKA Thomas. WHO IS THOMAS? I strongly suggest you read Sweet Lip when you can because this is an artist who excels at drawing blowjob scenes and this doujin certainly delivers. Once again, I have no idea what the plot is about so I don't think I want to speculate what happens in case I encur the wrath of the diehard MH fans.

And for the final release, it's the second Monster Hunter doujin once again, by Fujiya Honten AKA Thomas. Much like the previous doujin, it still features awesome blowjob scenes and awesome artwork to the point that I might try the game out. Anyone have any idea which one is newb friendly? If it helps, I have the PSP/PS2/Wii so I have all bases covered. Apart from 3DS with that controller attachment for the upcoming MH game. WHY NINTENDO. WHHHHHHY?

Triple Doujin Release

With thanks to Fuke's awesome translating speed, here are three C80 doujins ready for download. Special thanks should also be given to Anonymous Scanner for scanning them as well. I always feel bad when I edit his scans and save them as JPGs all in the name of saving a couple of megs so I've decided to experiment with saving them as PNGs. I'm only saving them as PNGs if the original raws are excellent. Anything else will be the good old fashioned JPGs.

Minor Yellow Pop News

Making another post to calm down the people wondering, "WHERE'S THE NEXT YELLOW POP CHAPTER?". A couple of days ago the translator, RaikenTB, has moved to Japan to start his new job so it'll mean a while longer until he gets settled in. But don't worry, it's not all bad news. Who wants to see Yellow Pop: The "Animation"?

In a nutshell, this is the Fox Goddess storyline from the book but they added a splash of color AND voices. Unfortunately the "animation" is just basically the existing artwork but with the bodyparts moving about like a 2D puppet. For some reason it reminds me a lot of those Vanillaware games like Odin Sphere or Dragon's Crown. Anyways, the site was generous enough to provide two sample if you want to make up your mind before buying. Sample 1 is more of an advertisement while sample 2 is the demo.

My personal thoughts on this? Like I said, the animation looked a little awkward but the voices were spot-on and how I imagined Kitsu-nee to sound (cute and happy. If they fucked that up then I would be flipping my table over). Unfortunately, the price they're asking for this is a little too much in my opinion (1,365 Yen = US$18.80/€12.50). I understand that they priced it that way to cover the cost of the voice actors, the coloring and "animation" but if they're going to go through all this effort, why not make an h-anime?

So that's it for this filler post. As I mentioned before, I'll be on a European break for a couple of days. Here's hoping the Belgian fries, beer and chocolate taste as I imagine.

Up! Up! Sister & Muchipuri Completed Book

Last chapter of Muchipuri and we end with a story about a girl with a brother complex who has plans on what to do with her little brother after their parents go out. Sadly the little brother has other ideas and leaves for his friend's house so she turns to an alternative plan. Drinking beer and schlicking in his room. Sound like a good night to me. Thanks to YQII for the translations again.

EDIT: I decided to follow what YQII did and change the page ordering for page 199-201. Because of that, I'll be reuploading this chapter and the compiled book. Hopefully it should be ready in a few hours.

Edit 2: Reuploaded ch10 and compiled book. For the several hundred people who already downloaded this, please rename page 201 -> 199, 199 -> 200 and 200 -> 201. This should make the story flow better and not make people go, "wait, what just happened". Thanks and sorry for the minor inconvenience.

And with that chapter complete, it's time for YES YES, THE COMPILED VOLUME.

This was a straightforward project which was helped by the fact that two chapters from this was already worked on. From what I heard, Naoto and Akira, the couple who make up the first half of the book make an appearance in several h-magazines so I think it's safe to say that when Arima Zin releases a new h-manga, me and YQII will be on it. In the meantime, I hope you'll look forward to the next projects where we'll be working on two h-manga. Looks like fappy times ahead.

How do YOU organize your h-manga?

Off-topic post time. So I'm trying to tame my external drive containing my h-manga. Years ago, I made two folder. One called "translated" and the other, "untranslated". A few months later, it started to get so messy that I then started to go into the translated folder and sort them out by the groups that translated the manga but I realised that this means the oneshots translated by anonymous would be thrown into another one big folder. Then I notice that one artist started appearing a LOT so I create a folder dedicated to certain artists which means more folders. Doujins, CGs and then non h-manga also make an appearance in this ever-growing clusterfuck mess.

tl;dr my hdd is messy. Need tips.

Yes, this is what I do when I don't have anything to edit. HENTAI MUST BE EFFICENT.

Something for the foreign retranslators: Mankai Otome

Just uploading more PSD files of manga that I worked on for people wanting to retranslate them into a different language but lack editing or Japanese reading skills. For this release, it's time to revisit Mankai Otome by Maybe. Speaking of videogames, I personally thought Nintendo's E3 presentation wasn't good this year. Peches Mignons Volume 2

For the first time here on 4dawgz, here's something I edited that's NOT of Japanese origin. A few weeks ago I made a post saying how much I liked Arthur Du Pin's Peche Mignons. It's basically a comedy that focuses on the sex lives of Arthur and the girls he sleeps around with. There's 4 volumes in total but the second one wasn't translated because the original translator was moving house. Luckily he gave me his blessing to work on that volume and so, with the help of Oliver from Hentairules, I'm happy to present volume 2 of Peches Mignons. What can you expect from this chapter? Well, here's a sample:

I'd like to thank Oliver again for taking time out to provide the translations so it would be great if you can go to his post that contains the links if you want to download this. I was also given permission by the person who worked on volume 1,3 and 4 to re-edit those chapters but I think they're more of a side project because I want to give editing hentai scripts a higher priority. Speaking of which, most of the hentai translators are busy with other things so I'm not sure when a new script will be ready for me to edit.

This appeared in the Summer 2009 issue of Gelatin. Thanks to Nameless Translator for the translation. I wish Mota would actually do a proper chapter one day instead of these short chapters.

I'm proud to present the final two chapters for Kanna Tenzaki's Paizuri Princess with major thanks to Tadanohito for providing the translations. The first one, The Frigid Wife is a story about a housewife not getting satisfied by her husband until she takes on the advice of her friends to try someone younger. The second one, Every Day Is Exhilarating, is a very short chapter about childhood friends and how the guy has pervert power.

But the biggest news is probably the fact that I can now present... THE COMPILED VERSION!!11!1

This project got started by my first translator over 5 years ago. I can remember him saying, "let's just work on 2 chapters from this and get some poor sucker to finish the rest". Turns out I was the sucker along with Tadanohito who worked on finished the rest.

So that finally marks the end of a long running project. I'm aware that there are other Kanna Tenzaki books but I personally don't think I'll be working on anything else by him anytime soon. It might change in the future but for now, let's just enjoy this. Damn. 5 Years? Where did the time go?

I'm working on volume 2 with Oliver as a sideproject which is an interesting challenge as it means going out of my comfort zone and into new territory. Even though Oliver is kind enough to provide a huge chunk of translation, there is some parts that has some slangs and proverbs that I want to double check. If there's any french people willing to lend a hand then I'll pretend you're my Leon and I'll be your Natalie Portman.... I mean, I'll be thankful.

Here's a oneshot chapter by Bosshi from the non-h manga magazine Gelatin Spring 2009. Kinda strange to see an artist you always associate with hentai doing a story like this where there's absolutely no sex. Plot is that the city gets flooded due to global warming and everyone is wearing swimsuits as a way to get used to it. Even though this is 10 pages long, editing took several days because of the transparent speech bubbles but I think it's worth it in the end. Thanks again to Nameless Translator for the script.

Got an off topic question that's not related to manga or hentai. In 2 months my contract for my Blackberry will end and I'm going to go for a new phone. It's a split decision between an iphone 4 or an HTC one, more specifically, the Desire S. My head says to get the HTC but my heart keeps leaning towards the iphone 4 because it seems like everyday there's always an app or device announced for it. So any pros and cons from the people who owns one of these phones?

As for "why not get a new Blackberry"? All the new ones have those tiny keyboards which are too small for my hamfists.

Time for a very short colored doujin featuring that moe moe Mikuru character by Jouji Mujou. Thanks to Nameless Translator for the translation. This is actually a sequel to Nanika Kawara de Hirotta that was translated by CGrascal a while ago. Me and Nameless wanted to get that one retranslated and re-edited so that we could release this as a double pack... but then we got distracted with other stuff and now that idea's been shelved so hopefully this will still make the remaining Haruhi fans happy. God, that movie is still awesome. I think I'll watch it again.

This chapter is from the Spring 2009 issue and it's by Takamichi. The plot for this is about a guy and a girl who go on a mission to retrieve a pair of shorts from an island... aaaaand that's it. Uploading more PSD files from previous projects for people to play about with and retranslate into other languages because they're just sitting in my hard drive doing nothing. Gotten permission from translators to release old joint projects so I figured it I'll start with Cheerism by ED. I got memories flooding back when I re-read this while I was packing up the file for upload. Cheerism is a great h-manga where I can still remember my first translator introducing me to the artist. I chose Black. Not because of the content exclusive to it, but purely because it matched the color of my DS. I loved Pokemon but unfortunately the days of over 250 hours playtime for a game is long gone. In fact, Pokemon Silver was the last one I obsessed over. Ruby/Sapphire and Diamond/Pearl slipped me by. So now that Black/White is out and I've spent a couple of hours with it so far, all I can say is that all the new Pokemon I met so far failed to impress me. At least they're all well animated which is a little blessing considering I encountered probably 50 Patrats so far. Motherfucking Patrats. Can't wait to encounter the first generation Pokemon again. I swear some of the new Pokemon design looks WORSE than the ones you see in those "unofficial" Pokemon Magazine 10 years ago where people send in their fanart of their dream Pokemon.

SO WHY CAN'T I STOP PLAYING IT? Maybe because it sparked off that little nostagia part of my brain from the days when I would discuss ways of catching Mew with my friend and yes, I got to that motherfucking truck. That's 12 hours I'll never get back.

That was a fun 2 weeks. So fun, I completely forgot to turn on my netbook when I wandered into wifi rich areas because I was constantly on the move. Can't wait to feel the full effect of the jetlag the next day. Looks like there's a fair amount of manga, h-manga and TV shows to catch up so I'm gonna have to check out what's been released before I get working again.

So how about that iPad2 and 3DS? I saw the 3DS for sale in Hong Kong but the prices they were asking for it was ridiculous considering it's going to be released this month anyways.

BRB, Vacation Time

I tried cramming as much releases as possible this week before I leave for my Hong Kong vacation but unfortunately it looks like I missed the deadline and some projects will have to be delayed until I come back. In the meantime, here's some news of what's going on with some projects.

Me and YQII have picked the next h-manga to work on. Don't wanna spoil it but all I can say is that it's one for the big boob lovers.

Nameless Translator is working hard on studying for exams so Nanako, Mai No Heya, Pretty Misa and the Solatorobo 4koma strips will be put on a temporary hold until then.

RaikenTB is going to work on the Yellow Pop scripts so, fingers crossed, by the time I come back I'll have them ready to edit. Also some Otaku No Musume stuff, oneshots and a couple of other stuff.

Zenigame hasn't been replying to my emails lately so consider Love Pheremone No.05 to be put on a hiatus again until I get a reply as to what's going on.

Haven't heard much from LD from Soba-Scans so it looks like the new project that we were going to work on will be delayed a little until then.

Schmidt is still hard at work studying so there won't be any new Houkago Strawberry Dildo chapters anytime soon but as soon as he's finished, we'll be working on that... hopefully.

See you all again in 2 weeks! Thank goodness for netbooks and free wifi. I'd go crazy if I had to go without internet for that amount of time.

This was a nice book to work on even if the artist does overdo it on the ahegao faces during the sex scenes to the point that it becomes comical but not erotic...al. There isn't a lot of the WTF humor from Pink Cherry Pie but dammit, the girls are just so cute and sexy in this. Me and YQII are still discussing about the next project which we hope to decide upon before the end of this week.

Something for the foreign retranslators part 2

Last year I made a post where I uploaded PSD files for three random hentai that I worked on. They were for people who had basic Photoshop skills but wanted to to try their hands on translating something into a different language if they weren't knowledgable in Japanese. Since several hundred people downloaded those files, I figured it can't hurt to do another one. So for all those who want to get a taste of the hentai scanlating world, here is the entire PSD files for Kogure Mariko's Koi No Hana. That means 9 entire chapters for retranslating fun.

I tried my best at compressing this but it still ends up being over 200mb so I figured it would be best to split this into 2 files.

If there's one thing I'm willing to put my hands up to admit, is that a lot of the editing in this is VERY hacky or sloppy at times because I was trying to do a speed job on some chapters. Sorry if this offends the seasoned editors who decide to have a peek at this. I am still learning. Honest. Just a couple of things I want to mention.

1. These files were done using PS CS4. If they don't work on an image editing software of your choice then you're outta luck because I can't help you. I'm not a 24/7 PS tech support. A basic understanding of how Photoshop can go a long way.

2. Wildwords and Badaboom are the two main fonts I used in this but be warned that these fonts are not "foreign friendly". Which means letters like "é, í, ó, ú" won't be displayed in the Wildword/Badaboom font.

3. I do have plans to release a few more PSDs but please be aware that I am NOT going to release PSD files that were done as joint projects with other active groups because I have not obtained permission from them to release those. But if the translator or group has decided to disappear or retire, then I'll be uploading them if I still have them.

That's it really. I hope you have an interesting experience with this and hopefully have fun as well.

Been a long time since I visited 4chan's /e/. It's not because I dislike that board. Quite the opposite. I love that board to the point that I can find myself wasting hours saving as much pictures as I can with Downthemall. This ecchi manga appeared alongside with a script translated by Kita on /e/ and I figured it can't hurt to try my hand at editing this. The manga is by Kategiri Kaneharu and it's about a girl getting ready to go out on a date but accidently drinks a potion created by her jealous brother that makes her invisible. Girl runs out of the house to escape her brother but only realises that the potion doesn't make her clothes invisible so her only choice is to strip off naked to be completly invisible before the public gets freaked out by walking clothes.

Apparently the term for this fetish of girls running about naked in public is called ENF (Embarrassed Nude Female) so if you liked Nanako-san and her naked adventures then this should right up your street.
